Who or what inspired you to become a Realtor: Growing up in Stamford, Conn., I watched my mother, Nicole Harris, who was a Realtor in Connecticut. She was very passionate about real estate and loved touring homes and helping families. I would sit with her on open houses – even watched her write up offers on the spot. I would get so excited! At times, I would be the assistant if she was running late and she would call home using a pay phone to give instructions on what to say if her client called to let them know she was on the way. I remember scrolling through the two-inch book of multiple listings for fun. Many of her clients are still her friends for life. I started as an Investor and the passion to help people grew within me to start a career in the real estate business.

What is a selling point to buying a home in the Golden Isles: What is not to love? The Golden Isles are loved by everyone who visits for the first time. The community, great golf courses, fabulous restaurants, art, great weather, the ocean, fishing, history, scenery and much more. It seems that the charming Golden Isles has something for everyone’s taste, sports and hobbies.

Give us your elevator pitch for someone looking to move to the Golden Isles: Lifestyle! If you are looking for a quaint place between historic downtown Brunswick, Jekyll Island, Oak Grove Island, Sea Island, St. Simons or anywhere in Glynn County, it’s all about lifestyle. People are friendly, lots of things to do in the Golden Isles and it is very easy to make friends. What you’re buying is the lifestyle. If you’re moving and trying to get the largest house for the money and your priority is not lifestyle, then the Golden Isles is not for you. What I mean is you can buy a larger house outside of Golden Isles for the same amount of money.

What advice would you give to someone looking to buy a home in the Golden Isles? When I meet a buyer for the first time who has no idea about the Golden Isles, I will ask them questions about lifestyle and what turns them on between style of homes, neighborhoods and hobbies. The most important is to determine the type of lifestyle they want.

Tell us about your favorite thing to do in your spare time: I truly enjoy playing golf, fishing and enjoy my time with my family.

Favorite landmark in the Golden Isles: Driving on Sidney Lanier Bridge and the causeway every day of the year! The views are spectacular, from the rivers to the Golden Isles Marina to the ever-changing colors of the marsh and the beautiful channels. It takes my breath away every time. I am never tired of taking in the gorgeous views. Coming back to the Golden Isles from a trip just gives me a feeling of ease and peace.

Describe a perfect Saturday for you in the Golden Isles: Most of my Saturdays are busy with open houses, showing properties or meeting clients. When I have a free day, my perfect Saturday is walking on the beach, having lunch in one of the great restaurants and listening to live music under stars with family and friends.
