What is your ideal night out in the Golden Isles? This answer may be a bit different than it would have been 30 years ago! Can’t go wrong with a cocktail on the beach at sunset, followed by a walk to Crabdaddy’s for dinner and the bread pudding.

Favorite things to do in your free time: Bicycling, golf, Georgia Bulldogs fandom and enjoying the Golden Isles.

Tell us about your careers and how you got to where you are now: I have had a long career in the hospitality industry, selling large groups to resort hotels throughout the Caribbean, and most recently, five-plus years working remotely in Atlanta for The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C. Though the hotel has thrived during the pandemic, we started seriously considering moving here last summer, after having vacationed here for years. Getting here “eventually” became “there’s no time like the present.” I took the real estate pre-licensing courses in January, got licensed in February and started with Roland Daniel Properties in March. I’m so fortunate to have this opportunity, and to learn from the expertise of our terrific team every day.

What would you say is the most rewarding part of your job? With hotels, I got to bring clients to an amazing destination for several days of their company meetings. Now with real estate, I have the privilege of helping clients find their perfect home, in this perfect setting, for a lifetime!

In your opinion, what do you think are selling points for homes in the Golden Isles? The location, the weather, the accessibility and the area amenities all add up to an incredible quality of life. For young families, retirees and all ages in between, there really is no better place to live.
