Exhibit featuring the wildlife paintings of Sherry Egger and the still life art of Loren DeBenedetto, will be featured at the Anderson Gallery, 3309 Frederica Road, St. Simons Island from Feb. 14-March 2. An opening reception, free to the public, will begin at 5 p.m. Feb. 14.

Paintings by Nancy Pitcher and polymer and paper sculpture by A. Kelly Richard will be on display from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends Feb. 1-29 at the Jekyll Island Arts Association, Goodyear Cottage, in the Jekyll Island National Historic Landmark District.

Donald L. Miller, Ph.D., will present a program on his book, “Vicksburg: Grant’s Campaign That Broke the Confederacy,” at 4 p.m. at the A.W. Jones Heritage Center, 610 Beachview Drive, St. Simons Island. His lecture will be followed by a book signing. Free to the public.

”Leap for Kids” Gala, sponsored by the AJ Donohue Foundation and the Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation, to benefit the renovation of the pediatric inpatient unit at the Brunswick hospital, will begin at 6 p.m. at The Westin Jekyll Island.
